My name is Manuel and I come from the Marche region, a land that boasts a deep tradition of craftmanship. Growing up among workshops and centuries-old traditions ignited in me from the very beginning a passion for authentic crafts, in particular the ancient and noble art of leatherworking, a perfect mix of creativity, technique and history.
In 2020 I discovered skydiving, a wonderful activity that has intensely influenced my person. From the meeting of these two passions was born Ikigai Leather Lab, a workshop dedicated to the creation of unique products that hold true to traditional techniques, aimed at an audience attentive to authentic, unprecedented and personalized productions.
I support and believe in slow workmanship: each item is made individually - from start to finish - with all the care and dedication that deserves a product destined to last a lifetime.
I use only high-quality materials: I work only full grain leather vegetable tanned from the best Tuscan tanneries, traced and certified.
Finally, but I would say above all, I work strictly by hand. No machinery-mechanical or electrical - is used in all stages of my processing.
